'Before The Bough Breaks' borrows its concept from mortality. Recently, I've been focused on the fact that time moves so quickly and many legends in music and entertainment have passed away well before they had a chance to fully exploit their talents. We lost more than three notable musicians at the beginning of this year alone, so it was time appropriate for me to focus on this concept. It got me wondering what would happen if all of these ideas and melodies that I have in my head were laid to rest before I could share them with the world. Expression lives on but sadly, dormant ideas do not.

This album is dedicated to my grandmother Clara Wood Pietsch who played a big influence on my life. This album will be released a year after her passing.
